Proposed Project Overview
Mayer Waste Management is initiating an Environmental Assessment to increase the capacity at the Mayer Waste Disposal Site in Champlain, Ontario by 650,000 m3.
The proposed expansion would not increase the approved daily volume or type of waste, but would allow Mayer Waste Management to extend the life of the existing landfill.
Notice of Public Open House 2 - EA Phase
You are invited to attend the second public open house of the EA phase on November 13, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Robert Hartley Sports Complex, Hawkesbury, to learn about the results of the comparative evaluation of the considered landfill expansion options and the recommended expansion option. The open house will be ‘walk-in’ format with information display boards. Project and Mayer staff will be attending to provide additional information, to answer questions, and receive any comments.
