Proposed Project Overview
Mayer Waste Management is initiating an Environmental Assessment to increase the capacity at the Mayer Waste Disposal Site in Champlain, Ontario by 650,000 m3.
The proposed expansion would not increase the approved daily volume or type of waste, but would allow Mayer Waste Management to extend the life of the existing landfill.
Notice of Commencement-EA Released
Mayer Waste Management is formally initiating the next step in the Environmental Assessment after the approval of the Amended Terms of Reference (ToR) on December 19, 2024 by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks.
