Proposed Project Overview
Mayer Waste Management is initiating an Environmental Assessment to increase the capacity at the Mayer Waste Disposal Site in Champlain, Ontario by 650,000 m3.
The proposed expansion would not increase the approved daily volume or type of waste, but would allow Mayer Waste Management to extend the life of the existing landfill.
Notice of Public Open House 1 - EA Phase
You are invited to attend the first public open house of the EA phase on June 5, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Robert Hartley Sports Complex, Hawkesbury, to learn about the expansion options being considered and how they will be evaluated. The meeting will include a bilingual presentation followed by a question and answer session. The event will also feature information display boards and project staff will be present to provide additional information and answer any questions.
