A predominantly southern expansion.

The expansion is only horizontal, increasing the footprint by 6.2 ha.

Option #1 would require changes to the southern buffer zone, as it will expand beyond the current 30 m buffer.

This option would move the new southern buffer approximately 100 m from Site entrance (County Road 17).

It would reduce the eastern buffer zone by 63 m (162 m to 99 m).

This option would also require the relocation of an existing pond.

This would be both a horizontal and vertical expansion.

The horizontal footprint would increase by 5.8 ha and vertically the top of waste would increase by 0.375 m.

This option would not require changes to the southern buffer zone.

It would reduce the eastern buffer by 109 m (162 m to 53 m).

Expansion option #2 requires the relocation of three existing ponds.

Option #3 is a predominantly eastern expansion.

It includes both a horizontal and vertical expansion.

The horizontal footprint would increase by 4.8 ha, vertically top of waste would increase by 1 m.

It will not require changes to southern buffer zone.

This option reduces eastern buffer zone by 130 m (162 to 32 m).

Similar to Option #1, it requires the relocation of one existing pond.
